Direct access to the A1 towards Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle from porte de la Chapelle is one of the most used passages in Paris. Gare du Nord, on the border of the 10th, and Gare de l'Est generate intense taxi and ride-hail traffic, particularly at international departure times.

Preparing for the licence in the 18th also requires handling the many steep, sometimes cobbled streets around the Sacré-Coeur, and the one-way streets imposed by the topography of the hill. Coexistence with the heavily used buses on lines 30, 31, 60, 80, 85 and 95, the cycle paths added along boulevard Barbès, and pedestrian density around the metro exits Abbesses, Anvers, Pigalle, Barbès-Rochechouart and Marx-Dormoy demand from candidates constant vigilance, perfect mastery of clutch dosage on slopes and a mobile reading of the urban environment.
