Legal terms
Terms & Conditions
Purpose of the service
DevisPermis.fr is a free referral service connecting driving license candidates (or related training) with partner driving schools. DevisPermis SAS acts as an intermediary and is not a party to the training contract concluded between the user and the driving school.
Free service
The use of DevisPermis.fr is entirely free for candidates. No fees are charged when requesting a quote or when being referred to a partner driving school. Partner driving schools may pay a commission to DevisPermis SAS upon contract conclusion, without affecting the final price offered to the candidate.
Referral process
1. The user fills in the quote form specifying their desired course, city and contact details.
2. DevisPermis SAS forwards the request to one or more partner driving schools in the relevant area.
3. A partner contacts the user by phone within 48 hours (excluding Sundays and public holidays) to refine their request and offer a personalised quote.
4. The user remains free to accept or decline the offer with no prior commitment.
Liability
DevisPermis SAS undertakes to forward requests as quickly as possible and to select quality partners. However, DevisPermis SAS cannot be held liable for:
- ›The rates charged by partner driving schools
- ›The quality of training delivered by partners
- ›The temporary unavailability of a partner
- ›Exam results
The user undertakes to provide accurate information when requesting a quote and to remain reachable within 48h of their request.
Right of withdrawal
As the referral service is free, no right of withdrawal under consumer law applies to the quote request. However, any training contract signed directly with a driving school is subject to the withdrawal rules applicable to service contracts.
Amendments to the T&Cs
DevisPermis SAS reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Modifications take effect from their publication on the site. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Applicable law & Mediation
These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the user may use consumer mediation in accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, before any legal proceedings.
These terms and conditions were drafted for indicative purposes. They must be validated by a legal professional before final publication.
