Point Recovery Course
The road safety awareness course allows drivers to recover up to 4 points on their driving license, up to the maximum of 12 points. This 2-day course takes place at a prefecture-approved centre and combines awareness exercises, role-play scenarios and group discussions.

Enrol at an approved centre. Book early to anticipate a critical loss of points.

Course (2 days)
Full attendance at both days is mandatory. Late arrival or absence = course invalidated.

Points credited
Certificate sent to the ANTS. Points credited within 3 to 4 weeks on your points balance.

Frequently asked questions
Can I exceed 12 points with a course?
No. The course allows you to recover a maximum of 4 points, up to the 12-point limit. If you already have 12 points, the course will not add any more.
Is the course reimbursed by my employer or the State?
No, the course is not funded by the State or by employers in general. Some companies offer this as a staff benefit, but it is not a legal obligation.
How many times can I take a point recovery course?
You can take one course per calendar year at most. The gap between two courses is at least 1 year. If you recover 4 points per course but regularly lose points, consider adapting your driving behaviour permanently.
