Taking your driving test in the 17th arrondissement of Paris means training in a very contrasting north-western district of around 159 212 residents, structured around place de l'Étoile at the extreme south, the Palais des Congrès at porte Maillot, the Batignolles district and the new Paris Courthouse at Batignolles. Proximity to the Saint-Lazare station to the south-east generates intense bus and taxi traffic.
